This is interesting:

"Corporation moves stop work on Guanapo church"

For those of you who DON'T know, it was revealed during the debate over the new The Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill, 2010 (A vield attempt really to fire ALL of the customs and excise, immigration officials and Interal Revenue employees (AND Union card holders) from these departments to create a NEW Semi-Private and OUTSOURCED body called. . . yeah . . . the T&T Revenue Authority!) But I digress. The Hounourable member for Chaguanas West Mr A Jack Warner, produced a nice photo of this in-famous church up in Guanapo basically asking the Prime Minister, if Shanghai Construction Limited (a darling of the beleaguered UDECOTT) was being PAID by our OWN Government to construct this church.

Now the local Regional Corporation, who basically give "permission" for ANY building to be constructed in the Tunapuna/Piarco area, has said that they are "putting a hold on construction." Well you read the article yourself and you decide. . .

There's a LOT more to this than meets the eye and I'll speak my mind on this a little later as more info develops.

BTW. The woman in CHARGE of the church is known as the PM's personal seer and she USED to be married to Benny Hinn, the evangelical who a few years ago warned the world that the PM is not the nice person he makes everyone believe he is. Well shit, he's a politician and PNM-ite! What do you expect!?

BY the way, by the time I got to finishing this post, 67% of people polled on CNC3 (local TV station) did not agree with the PM's explanation. . . I've got to find that explanation somewhere and post it. . . if only to show that we've got a religious nut running our country. . .
